Here are some basic tips, to be noted while you are buying furniture.
Measure out the space in your home first..
Go to a shop that you are familiar, so it will be helpfull in future if there is any problems..
Research the same item, in multiple locations.
If you are going to buy a wooden furniture, think of the quality of the wood. Some of the wood get powdered quickly.
Take plenty of time in choosing the design, and checking for the damages.
Check out the item thoroughly before buying.
Ask for warranty papers/ bills /manuals etc.
